Thanks for the memories

Today Brett Favre announced his retirement. I initially liked him because he was a back-woods Mississippi boy, but he made football fun. His love of the game was evident every time he played, something that a lot of players have a hard time showing. He had the all-or-nothing, gunslinger mentality that propelled him to three NFL MVP awards, but also leaves him with the career record for interceptions. Needless to say, a shoe-in for the hall of fame. I don’t think we’ll see another player like him for a long time.

Thanks Brett for the fun and you will be missed. The video on the YouTube clip below is crummy, but the audio is classic.
