The Friendly Skies

Jen, Avery jr, and I went to Jackson, MS for Christmas and chose Southwest airlines as our means of transportation. The “family boarding” time for families with children under 4 years is inbetween the A and B boarding groups. This is the group we normally would have been a part of, but Jen is approx 35 weeks pregnant and qualifies for a temporary disability (mental more than anything else). Being in the disability-preboarding area was interesting. Apparently it takes little more than being a white, 55-year old woman with anxiety to qualify for being disabled. Jennifer has a theory on the correlation between anxiety (aka crazy) and jewelry, I’ll have her post it here soon. Seriously, the disability line was a joke. There needs to be a screening process and don’t give me any of that invasion of privacy garbage, I’m on to you.
