NASA rules!

The headline on the NASA web page reads “‘Death Star’ Galaxy Black Hole Fires at Neighboring Galaxy.” Could they have fit any more awesome words into the title? I can visualize this guy with a list of cool words, trying to figure out how to make the best title, then they computer-generate a picture and story to match. Next week: “Quantum Leap Actualized Through Reverse-Engineering Pulsed Plasma Thrusters.”

Apparently these galaxies are 1.4 billion light years away from Earth, so who knows when this stuff happened, I’m a bit confused with how they figure it out. Doesn’t make it any less awesome!
