Americans have no respect for language

I was at a noon lunch meeting with the trumped-up title of Grand Rounds today when the speaker butchered our language. To quote “We angsted over the decision for weeks.” I have looked at the Merriam-Webster online dictionary and found Angst (a feeling of anxiety, apprehension, or insecurity), yet no reference to the action of angsting or having angsted over a particular issue. Ok, I’m Done.
